Hi, I'm Angela Knight. First I'd like to thank Terra for inviting me to blog at Yankee Romance Reviews. I'm honored at the opportunity.
This is also a chance for me to talk about my works in progress, something readers ask me about all the time. For those not familiar with my books, I have two series I'm currently writing.
The first is the Mageverse, a paranormal romance series that includes MASTER OF THE NIGHT, MASTER OF THE MOON, MASTER OF WOLVES, MASTER OF SWORDS and MASTER OF DRAGONS. The series revolves around a set of wild ideas: What if King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table were actually vampires? What if they survive to this day? What if Merlin had created them for the purpose of protecting mankind from its own suicidal impulses? What if they also had to deal with demonic alien creatures?
The series has done really well and collected a fan following. Though I brought the first arc in the series to a close in the last book, I plan to start a new arc of books very soon. The villains for that arc will be a group of rogue werewolves with the ability to resist magic. The first hero of the series will be the son of King Arthur: not the evil Mordred, but a mortal police officer who wants nothing to do with his father's magical world.
I'll also be writing a novella in the series for a Christmas collection that will feature Lora Leigh, among other authors.
The series I'm currently writing is called TIME HUNTERS. The idea behind that book is: What if time travel becomes big business in the future? What if you can't change history, so it's safe for tourists and scholars to leap through time? What if futuristic criminals prey on those people, so an organization called Temporal Enforcement is created to police time travel?
These future cops are genetically engineered cyborg warriors with fantastic powers. Their enemies are religious extremists who worship an insane cyborg.
In the first book of the series, WARRIOR, Enforcer Galar Arvid was assigned to protect an artist from a time traveling killer. That book made the New York Times list, I'm proud to say.
I'm currently writing the second book, GUARDIAN. A beautiful Enforcer named Riane Arvid finds herself stranded in the Twenty-First century. A group of extremists are hunting her, led by a traitorous Enforcer. Luckily she has a gorgeous twenty-first century hero on her side: Nick Wyatt, a man with psychic abilities he can't explain.

Hi Angela! Thanks for taking time to answer our questions.
Is this new series sort of a tie in with Jane's Warlord? Or completely different? It's been a while since I read that (2004, I think) but I recall it having a time traveling warrior.
Hi Angela,
Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to come and blog with us. Your article is fantastic and wow the possibilities with the King Arthur and Merlin ideas are awesome.
I do hope you enjoy your time here and keep on writing!
huggs,
Terra
Hi Angela,
Thanks for popping in here and blogging for us. I am a fan of your books. The first novel of that I read was Jane's Warlord, and boy did you have me hooked! :D
In Megaverse I can't choose which I like most. I may be partial to Master of Wolves...
Now I'll be looking forward to the Christmas collection, too. Keep writing your wonderful stories. We appreciate them very much!
Lots of hugs :)
Hi Angela,
I have Jane's Warlord & Warrior but sadly I haven't had a chance to read them. I'm looking forward to both & I will get them read soon.
Have a great weekend,
Susan B.
Thanks, Ladies! Yes, Daelith, TIME HUNTERS is a spin off of JANE'S WARLORD. Riane Arvid is the daughter of Jane and Baran Arvid, the hero and heroine of JANE'S WARLORD. And Gaylar is the son of the couple from WARFEM.
