Anyway, I loved writing this book! I didn’t know how much I’d enjoy writing stories centered in the Highlands until I began. I jotted down some of the reasons I had so much fun with HIGHLAND OBSESSION (and its sequel, HIGHLAND SURRENDER, coming in early 2010).

I love to see men in kilts (with nothing under them). Makes for easy......Uhmmm. I love the Scottish Brrrr And the Gaelic!! They are powerful clansmen, excellent horsemen and passionate lovers. My perfect kind of hero.

I am so excited that you have Dawn as a guest. I have been anxiously awaiting for Highland Obsession ever since I first heard about it (when A Hint of Wicked was released).
What do I love about highlanders. Well they aren't some of my fav types of reads for no reason. Like you I love the honor, the warring between clans, bride stealing, the very sexy kilts (can never get enough of those). I love to read the Scottish accent, and really love it when they profess their love in Gaelic...so romantic. Matter of fact there is not one thing that I don't like about highland romances. They are an absolute fav of mine, and I can't wait to read this book!

LOVE the Highlanders! Dawn, when I saw your warning about Highland Obsession's heat level, I instantly ordered it.
I met Monica McCarty at National and made the mistake of bringing her and my critique partner, Rosie Murphy, together. They've been battling over Gerard Butler ever since.
Rosie (aka Gabriella Edwards) got me started on the Chest Collection, which contains an over-abundance of shirtless guys in kilts. Whenever she gets depressed or Imposter Syndrome sets in, I google "men in kilts" and send her lots of pretty pictures. She writes erotic paranormals, and if the hero isn't a hot Highlander, he's channeling one.
Love your list -- I have to go grab Rosie and send her over here. I'm not sure her heart will be able to take all this talk about hot Scots, though!

Being Celtic, I've always loved the rich history of the highlands and the clans. While the land is breath takingly beautiful, it's also harsh in many areas. It breeds some strong people.
I love the honor, the music--especially the music, lol! I also love a a sexy man in a kilt--as you will see if you visit my blog, lol! Yah, I'm a sucker for things Scot. :-)

Now, for the question...hmmm...first off, what's not to like about Highlanders? They're powerful men, for starters. The deep brogue makes me weak in the knees. The image of a long dark-haired Highlander standing on a hill surrounded by heather, kilt flapping in the wind. There couldn't be a more wonderful sight.

I love Highlanders! I am of Scottish descent, and I live in an area of my state known as "The Highlands". How I would love to come across a sexy Scot in his tartan kilt! Who else but a true Scot would look sexy in a kilt? Gerard Butler, please wear your kilt!!!

One of my favorite things about highlanders is their brogue. The accent from Edinburgh is the hardest to discern, though!
