I don't know about you but I love Christmas and decided to have a Christmas in July contest with the books shown above. Some are ARC's, some I've bought and one or two are autographed. They are all wonderful books and I really do need to make some room before Tim throws me out and keeps the books. LOL!

Yay Christmas in July! I need to win this because I don't think I have any of those books listed yet, and that in itself in quite amazing! I also need to win because my step-son is now living with us and I'm trying to offer job-finding advice to him, and I think ANYONE would find reading some great romances preferable to talking about what kind of responses you should give to interview questions! In fact, my step-son would probably prefer reading romances with me, to having to think about finding a job!

There are 4 books from the top of my Wish List here. Christmas in July is always fun. I have been going through books, sorting them today. I have a stack to donate to the library for their sale and a few to go for trade at the used book store. Now there is room for a few more. They will have a good home and once read, will be passed on to another deserving person, unless they make my Keeper Shelf.

I deserve to win because it's been a LONG summer. It's over 100 degrees almost every day. In order to set a good example for my children, I have gotten all my books out of the library for years now. Well... with my son alternating between taking the car to work and taking the car to visit friends, I never, ever have a car. So that means I can't get OR return books from the library without a big struggle. And I've spent so many years getting library books that it would kill me to pay for books now. So if I won this, it is probably enough books to get me through the summer until he goes back to college and I have a car again.
