A HEATED RIVALRY...
Morrigan McNab is a Highland lady, robbed of her birthright and with no choice but to fight alongside her brothers to protect their impoverished clan. When she encounters Sir Jacques Dragonet, she discovers her fiercest opponent...
IS GETTING EVEN HOTTER...
Sir Jacques Dragonet will give his life to defend Scotland from the English. He can't stop himself from admiring the beautiful Highland lass who wields her weapons as skillfully as he does, and endangers his heart even more than his life...
(Terra's Thoughts) I luv Amanda Forester and her writing. Each book just continues on as if the family sage has just had a wee vacation.
Morrigan McNab is one fiesty highland lass who can seem to find just as much trouble without looking for it as her brothers do. A Highland lady who can't seem to find her way out of breaches and into a nice gown, Morrigan really does need the so called Kick in the Pants!
Sir Jacques Dragonet is about as noble as they come. A priest on a mission of great import doesn't stop this knight from helping Scotland protect itself from the English invasion that is coming. Noble, kind hearted, handsome as the day is long doesn't stop the ladies from admiring him. Will he have the strength of heart and soul to resist a firey higland lass that is sure to test his patience past endurance?
This story is full of action, passion and deceit. A story that is a test of strength of heart, soul and honor that could surely break the strongest of the strong. This is a tale of giggles and oh my where's the tissues that will make you impatient for the next installment from a very gifted writer.
I can't help but love this series of tales that lead from one book to the next and each ones keeps pace or outdoes the one before it. Not much time elapases between books so it's really easy to just pick up where you left off. I'm already drooling for another of Amanda's books and hope it comes before I expire from lack of a fantastic story.
